Applying the FGN Flange Connection
The APV FGN flange connection is a stress free seal construction which ensures a long seal life. The flange connections are often used in process engineering plants, where proper cleaning and bacteriological safety are necessary. APV flange seals of extremely exact tolerances eliminate leakage and reduce mechanical strain.
The standard elastomer is EPDM, but silicone and Viton are available as options. All sealing materials comply with FDA-requirements. The material is made of AISI 304 or AISI 316 and are also available with 3.1.B certificate. The flange connection is available in the sizes DN25 - DN250 and 1" - 4".
