Applying the Kieselmann Overflow Valve

Kieselmann has different types of overflow valves to protect your process against overpressure. The Kieselmann overflow valve is based on the successful KI-DS single seat valves. These overflow valves can be set easily in a pressure range of 0.5 to 12 bar. The valve will open when the process will reach the required pressure. Thereafter the product will be transfered to a different position by the other outlet of the overflow valve. These overflow valves are available in sizes DN25 until DN100 and OD sizes 1”- 4”. Usually the valves are designed with a hygienic flat plug. The valves can be delivered with a pneumatically connection to lift the plug during the CIP process. By using a sensor, the valve setting Open/Close can be queried to the PLC.
