9. Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use
We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files stored in your browser on your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit the website.

We use the following types of cookies:
a) Functional cookies – purely technical cookies that ensure the website functions properly and remember your preferences. They also help optimize the website.
b) Analytical cookies (Google Analytics) – we use Google Analytics to gain insight into the use of our website, such as visitor numbers, visited pages, and browsing behavior. We have configured Google Analytics as privacy-friendly as possible: IP addresses are anonymized, data-sharing with Google is disabled, and we have a data processing agreement with Google. Data is retained for a limited period (currently a maximum of 14 months). Google may process data in the United States; see Google’s privacy policy. Analytical cookies are only placed after you provide consent.
c) User experience analysis tools (Microsoft Clarity) – we use Microsoft Clarity to analyze how visitors use our website. Clarity records, among other things, mouse movements, clicks, and session recordings. This data is anonymized and used to improve website usability. When you first visited our website, we informed you about these cookies and requested your consent. You can disable cookies by adjusting your internet browser settings. You can also delete previously stored information through your browser settings.

10. Your Rights (Access, Rectification, Deletion, etc.)
You have the following rights concerning the processing of your data:
a) Right of access – you have the right to know what data we hold about you, why we process it, to whom it has been disclosed, and how long it will be retained.
b) Right to rectification – you can ask us to correct your data immediately. You also have the right to complete incomplete data, for example by sending us an email.
c) Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) – upon request, we will erase your data without undue delay, unless retention is necessary to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
d) Right to restriction of processing – you may request restriction of processing, for instance if you believe your data is inaccurate or no longer necessary.
e) Notification of rectification, erasure, or restriction – unless this proves impossible or requires disproportionate effort, we will inform recipients of your data about any rectification, erasure, or restriction.

i) Right to lodge a complaint – you may contact our Privacy Manager if you believe your data is processed unlawfully. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or to take the matter to court.
j) Restrictions on rights – in some cases, we may restrict your rights, for example, in the context of preventing, investigating, detecting, and prosecuting criminal offenses such as fraud. To verify that a request for access comes from you, we will send you verification questions before processing your request. This ensures the protection of your privacy. We will respond as quickly as possible, but within four weeks at the latest.
