SX UltraPure pump
The Alfa Laval rotary lobe pump has been developed with an optimised pump head geometry and multi lobe rotors. This ensures extremely gentle pumping performance with low shear and minimal pulsation. As a result, the SX UltraPure is ideally suited for the safe handling of delicate products in high purity applications, where product integrity is essential.
This sanitary lobe pump complies with the most stringent hygienic design guidelines and is fully designed for reliable Cleaning in Place (CIP) and Sterilization in Place (SIP) processes. The SX UltraPure therefore provides maximum reliability in environments where hygiene and reproducibility are critical.
ApplicationsThe Alfa Laval rotary lobe pump is specifically designed for the gentle transfer of process fluids in high purity applications within, among others, the biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry and the home and personal care industry. The SX UltraPure is available with 14 different pump head displacements, built from seven gearbox modules. This allows flow rates of up to 115 m³ per hour and differential pressures of up to 15 bar. |
