Applying the Jabitherm Fire Safe

The Jabitherm pre-insulated tubes are one of the manufacturers of pre-insulated pipes. We are the perfect partner for you but also for Jabitherm Pre-insulated tube RAPID system consisting of four variables:

  • Medium tube: Almost all materials and sizes up to DN800
  • Isolate: PUR isolation applicable within -60 °C up to max. 150°C
  • Jacket: Spiral jacket in aluminium, stainless steel or alu/zinc
  • Options: A lot of options are available such as tracing, fix-points and many more

Applying the pre-insulated tubes is the ultimate way to reduce costs.These costs are reduced in three ways:

Fire Safe

The Jabitherm Fire Safe is a combination of pipe and up to three thermal insulation layers. Each separated by a layer of metallic sheathing from the following. This construction with special polyurethane foam increases the effect of the insulation and fire protection dramatically.

Significant advantage of Fire Safe

Fire: high temperatures from the surrounding of the pipe reach the medium with large delay. In case of fire it will take a minimum of 60 minutes for a temperature increase of medium inside Fire Safe-T90 by 50K. The pipe insulation material withstands fire much longer than this time period.

Sufficient time for remedial action!

The confirmation of the effectiveness of thermal pipeline insulation as a protection against impact of fire describe the test reports, carried out by independent test.

Rapid Cool

Low and medium temperatures inside medium pipe induces on the outer cladding surface hoarfrost and ice formation. This may lead to ingress of melting water into thermal insulation and wetting. A consequence is insulation ability loss. In addition melting water on cladding might drip and/or freeze.
