Applying the Kieselmann Spring Safety Valves
S.K.S. offers several Kieselmann spring safety valves for applications that deal with gases and liquids. These valves open when the set pressure is exceeded. Through a load spring Kieselmann safety valves automatically closes when the pressure decreases.
Kieselmann has models that can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. Valves for liquids are available in DN25 to DN100. For gases, the valves are available in size DN20. The pressure for liquids can be set from 0.2 to 12 bar and for gases from 0.1 to 10 bar. The pressure setting is easily adjustable through the house by turning the head tighter. All models are available in AISI 304 and AISI 316. The valves are manually operated but can also be supplied with a pneumatic actuator. EPDM elastomers are also available in Viton, depending on the type of pressure relief valve.
