Great employment conditions:
(based on 40 hours per week)- Salary €4600 – €6500 (depending on knowledge and experience);
- Company laptop, phone and car;
- 25 vacation days + 13 additional leave days;
- Possibility to work from home;
- Performance bonus system;
- Collective Labour Agreement for Metal and Technology;
- Takeover of position-related training costs negotiable.
What are you going to do?
- Develop, optimise and implement the purchasing strategy
- Negotiate prices, contracts and delivery terms with suppliers
- Optimise the supply chain through process improvement, cost reduction and efficiency enhancement
- Analyse market trends and translate them into concrete actions
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain and strengthen supplier relationships
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
- Regularly travel to suppliers for meetings, evaluations and relationship building
- Lead and coach the purchasing team
What qualities do you bring:
- Several years of experience in a similar position
- You are result-oriented, resilient and have strong strategic and analytical skills
- Proven experience in contract negotiations and supplier management
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
- You are proactive and able to work independently
- Experience in leading, coaching and developing a team
- Knowledge of ERP systems
