Designed for hygienic pharmaceutical processes
These bends are developed for pharmaceutical piping systems where strict requirements apply in the field of hygiene, process reliability and reproducibility. They are used for the transport of liquids and process media within controlled environments.
The bends are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel (316L) and are available with an internal surface finishing of SF1 or SF4.
SF1 has an internal surface of Ra max. 0.51 µm and is mechanically polished. This version is suitable for hygienic applications.
SF4 has an internal surface of Ra max. 0.38 µm and is ground and subsequently electrolytically polished. This version is used in critical pharmaceutical processes where maximum cleanability is required. The smooth internal surface limits product build-up and supports effective cleaning during CIP and SIP processes.
Within this series, several versions are available with fixed product codes such as DT-4.1.1-1, DT-4.1.1-2, DT-4.1.1-3, DT-4.1.1-4, DT-4.1.1-5, DT-4.1.1-6, DT-4.1.1-9 and DT-4.1.1-10. These codes are linked to specific characteristics such as bend angle, diameter, connection type and surface finish, allowing you to easily select the correct version.
The bends are compatible with other installation materials for pharmaceutical applications and are suitable for both new installations and extensions.
