Applying M&S Leak Detection Butterfly Valve LSV07
Within the complete valve program, M&S also offers a leak detection butterfly valve. This M&S leak detection butterfly valve type LSV07 is based on the normal butterfly valve type SV04 and is used in places where mixing of two confronting media should be avoided. The M&S leak detection butterfly valve can be an excellent alternative to a leak valve such as a mixproof. Technically the valve meets all requirements. It is available in both a manual as a pneumatically operated version.
In the closed position the tiny “leak-space” is opened and any leaked fluid will drain away. It may also be cleaned on the “leak space” by means of the coil connection or be sterilized. In open position, the “leak space” and flushing connection are closed. This has been incorporated in the design of the control. The valves and seals are marked and equipped with work dust number, size and batch number. Any 3.1 certificate is possible. The seals are manufactured from FDA-approved in 1935 and materials. The flexibility of M&S Armaturen makes it possible to order the butterfly valves completely to customer requirements (special connectors or mounting dimensions) to produce.
