Applying the Alfa Laval Thermometer
With its dial-face and robuust design, the Alfa Laval Thermometer is created to fulfill the demands of local temperature indication in sanitary and pharmaceutical production. The watertight housing is filled with glycerine and made of stainless steel (AISI 304). The thermometer features a relief plug, a nitrogen-filled bourdon pipe, class 1 (± 1%) accuracy, and a sensor attached to the housing.
All materials, including thermal liquid filling, comply with FDA regulations. The thermometer is easy to install by means of a clamp connection. The maximum pressure of the thermometer is 70 bar and it can be used up to 160 °C.
Due to their first class accuracy and long term measurement stability, no yearly calibration is needed. The thermometer is available in two sizes.
