Applying the GEA Tuchenhagen In-line Housing

S.K.S. offers a complete program of In-line housing; the GEA Tuchenhagen In-line Housing systems. These systems are available in the following three options:

DN25 – 1”
DN10 and DN 15
DN32 up to DN125 / 1 ½” up to 6”

We are using permanent closed systems in the current process technology. Therefore it is not possible for the user to look directly into the production process. Providing the pipes with In-line housing systems makes it possible to monitor the production process by mounting measuring and control instruments in these systems.

The GEA Tuchenhagen In-line housig is made from high quality stainless steel 316L material (1.4404) and also have as standard an internal roughness of Ra <1.6 µm. Optionally the In-line housings systems are also available with an internal roughness of Ra 0.8 µm and Ra <0.4 µm. The seals for these In-line models are available in EPDM, Viton or PTFE.

Next to this complete housing program, GEA Tuchenhagen also offers the possibility to complete these housings with different flange connections. Because of these flange connections they are perfect for using in combination with different instrumentation materials. The In-line program can be used to connect instrumentation such as thermometers and pressure gauges in a hygienic way.
