DIN 11853 coupling
The DIN 11853 coupling is a modern variant derived from the proven DIN 11864-A coupling, which has long been established in the pharmaceutical industry. As the DIN 11864-A is a widely used standard that perfectly aligns with current guidelines, it was decided to expand on this trusted design. While the DIN 11864-A standard is exclusively available in high-grade stainless steel 316L with orbital weld ends, the DIN 11853 coupling offers an alternative. It features the same design but is made from stainless steel 304L and equipped with short weld ends. This innovation provides greater flexibility in material selection, without compromising on reliability or compatibility.
According to EN 10357-A and DIN 11850-R2.
According to the standard, forged materials must be used.
