Use and operating principle of the Butterfly valve control unit M&S Top 16
- The control unit TOP16 is an extension module for pneumatic actuators
- A splash-proof housing contains both the proximity switches which indicate the limit of travel positions of the pneumatic actuators and the 3/2-way solenoid
- Valves required for initiation
- All pneumatic and electric connections are integrated in the TOP16
- A pneumatic actuator with TOP16 is an independent, fully functional switching unit for the automatic actuation of butterfly valve
- The TOP16 comprises an integrated visual position display
- A contact rod moves synchronously with the cylinder piston to the limit positions
- The connected control unit receives information on the corresponding switch positions via the signal outputs. The installed 3/2-way solenoid valve(s) control(s) the air supply or air exhaust to actuate the piston
