M&S ball valve type KV
Applying the M&S Sanitary Ball Valve KV
The M&S Sanitary Ball Valve KV is usually applied where a valve with full bore is necessary. For example in tube systems for aggressive chemicals or high temperatures, where the traditional gaskets are not resistant against the media. A M&S Sanitary Ball Valve is also very suitable as a valve in a pigging system or as a part for a pigging station.

All gaskets are FDA approved PTFE cavity fillers and are firmly pushed by O-rings into the housing, so it is not possible to lift them during a switch in process. PTFE cavity fillers do not swell into the pipeline (important at pigging systems).The flange execution in constructed with connections according to DIN-11866 to center of the flange to the housing (O-ring) Actuation-Scissors model with grid 0-90° position indication open/close with initiators on the lever or on the brackets underneath the actuator. The sanitary ball valve is available in the sizes DN25-DN100
TOP09 with ASI Bus automation PAMS available with several control unit executions:
- Pneumatic actuated with M&S actuator PAMS air/spring or air/air
- Stepless model
- Manual
- Optional the valves are available with flush connections to clean the valves in the dead spaces.
