This basic top-mounted automated Alfa Laval ThinkTop D30 Control Head for pneumatic valves provides basic automated sensing and control of hygienic valves and is designed with inputs and outputs. It serves as an alternative solution to external solenoid valves and for use on non-critical valve actuators. ThinkTop D30 is designed for Alfa Laval butterfly and single-seat valves. It can be applied in the the dairy, food and beverage, and biopharm industries.
The plug ‘n’ play setup makes it quick and easy to install, which eliminates fault handling during commissioning and production. This basic valve control unit consists of a proven no-touch sensor system with 360-degree LED visual indication, an integrated solenoid valve for spring-loaded actuator and a valve control sensor board for connection to any PLC (Programming Logic Controller) system with digital interface. The Alfa Laval Thinktop gives signals to your PLC with information about the position of the valve and the loss of air in the actuator. ThinkTop fits onto nearly all Alfa Laval hygienic actuators equipped with mushrooms. Moreover, the installation is very easy.
