This standard Alfa Laval Thinktop Basic Control Head is a top-mounted automated control head for pneumatic valves. It fulfills the requirements for the automated sensing and control of hygienic valves, with a reduced number of digital inputs and outputs. The control head offers a solution for Alfa Laval butterfly, single-seat and mixproof valves. It is designed for use in the dairy, food and beverage, and biopharm industries.

The ThinkTop gives real-time information on your PLC (Programming Logic Controller) about:

Open or closed position of the valves
Electro magnets
Set-up

The ThinkTop Basic is available in a Bus system and a Digital versie.

Installing the Alfa Laval ThinkTop Basic units is both quick and easy. Morover it helps to provide a cost-effective degree of flexibility in controlling an automated production. It consists of a proven no-touch, set-and-forget sensor system with light-emitting diodes (LEDs), solenoid valves and valve control sensor board for connection to any PLC (Programming Logic Controller) system with one of the three interfaces; Digital and AS-Interface.
