Double Seal / Mixproof Valves
The Alfa Laval SMP double seal mixproof valves are designed for hygienic processing where two media must remain completely separated. The double-seal principle prevents cross-contamination and ensures consistent product quality. The series includes the standard SMP-BC and the aseptic SMP-BCA version for sterile applications.
The SMP valves are pneumatically operated and top-loaded, which allows fast and easy maintenance. Their modular design makes them suitable for a wide range of process lines in dairy, food, beverages and personal care. The mixproof concept increases efficiency and reduces system complexity by eliminating the need for separate pipelines.
